Doylestown has some amazing restaurants within its borders, including Honey, a cozy restaurant with innovative takes on recipes, from black tea spare ribs to oysters in a Guinness reduction. Their extensive list of signature cocktails offers something for every taste and every dish, and guests should certainly not skip the dessert menu, with options like mocha custard.

The Hattery is a phenomenal kitchen in the Doylestown Inn. The menu changes seasonally, making use of the freshest ingredients, and covers all of the meals from breakfast to dinner with a variety of options, including a delicious Thermidor Burger. For an upscale night out, hit Honey, a dazzling dining experience that features a variety of small plates such as Wagyu Beet Tartare, Miso-Maple Yams, and Black Tea Glazed Spare Ribs.

Things to Do

The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown highlights local culture and history through art, from impressionist paintings to sculptures. The museum also hosts a number of special events, from exhibitions to lectures designed to promote the importance of the arts in society.

Fonthill Castle is just that — a castle built for archaeologist Henry Mercer, nestled into the peripheral of Doylestown. The house is carefully preserved with treasures from all over the world, collected during Mercer’s travels. Nearby is Mercer Museum, founded by Mercer and featuring local historical artifacts. 

Head outside at Ralph Stover State Park to take advantage of the picnic areas, educational programs, and extensive hiking in the area.
